Hens, ducks and guinea fowl roam freely and the fly fishing lakes are stocked with bream and rainbow trout (tackle and tuition can be arranged). There is a children's fishing lake, play and picnic areas and a well stocked tackle shop. Tavistock's great shops, theatre and leisure facilities are under 1 mile, Dartmoor National Park is almost on the doorstep and Plymouth, Kingsbridge, Salcombe and the Bigbury Bay beaches are all in easy reach.

Three bedrooms. Built into the hillside and overlooking the lake. Open plan sitting room with four steps down to well fitted kitchen/dining area. Lower ground floor: Double bedroom with four poster bed, door to terrace and small ensuite shower room/WC. First floor: Double bedroom with four poster bed. Twin bedded room. Bathroom/WC.

This is a piece of paradise because of the peace and quietness of the location, yet so near Tavistock and Plymouth. The pot bellied pigs and the chickens are so sweet, and my daughter loved feeding the pigs with a bit of carrot. I would highly recommend this location to everyone, and everybody should visit this location - it was absolutely perfect!
